Shifting Tides, the 2019 Pacific Creative Placemaking Leadership Summit will bring together hundreds of civic and cultural leaders, social practice artists, urban planners and more to explore how arts and cultural activities can address social, cultural and economic issues.

The Summit, entitled Shifting Tides, focuses on issues such as cultural preservation, migration, resiliency, and empowering voices.  Though the sessions cover California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii and American Samoa, everyone is welcome to participate.

There are plenty of good reasons to go to a Creative Placemaking Leadership Summit:

*It is one of the largest and most diverse gatherings of ‘creative placemakers’ – people from any profession who want to make places better through arts and local cultural activities. (What does ‘better’ mean? That’s up to you and your community.)
